Prayers We Might Pray

During the celebration of Mass on the radio we can pray the ’Act of Spiritual Communion’ below.
In this way we unite together with the Lord in prayer inviting Him into our hearts through this Spiritual Communion.

Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love you above all things,
And I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
Receive You sacramentally,
Come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
And unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.

O Mary, you always shine on our path
as a sign of salvation and of hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick,
who at the cross took part in Jesus’ pain, keeping your faith firm.
You, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need,
and we are sure you will provide so that, as in Cana of Galilee,
we may return to joy and to feasting after this time of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the Father
and to do as we are told by Jesus, who has taken upon himself our sufferings
