Skerries Parish Bulletin

Sunday November 19th 1978 was the day that Skerries parishioners read the first copy of what was to become an enduring part of our Parish, the Skerries Parish Bulletin. Printed in red ink, with a little drawing of the Church on top, it was the brain child of Fr. Diarmuid Connolly. In that first issue he called it a small beginning”.

Today, 40 years on, we have six editors and a team of eight parishioners who print it each weekend.
